Matchworks

The conversion of the former Bryant and May match storage warehouse followed the successful development of Matchworks 1. Phase 1 was completed in 2001, with phase 2 completed in 2007.

MSR manufactured and installed all the framework & support beams on the whole of the mezzanine floor throughout the original building on Phase 1. All the support beams were manufactured to the highest specification and standards and are a visible feature throughout the whole complex.

This intricate challenging project demanded we maintain uniformity throughout by marrying all the new steelwork with the old concrete columns.

MSR carried out the manufacture and installation of all entrance portals and staircases, emergency exit staircases to the rear of the buildings. Plus the manufacture of large architectural planters along the complete length of the external car park.
