2012 Olympics - Bridge 20

Bridge 20 is one of the main road bridges on the 2012 Olympic Park.
We were awarded the contract to manufacture and install Architectural Stainless steel hoods to the tops of the concrete parapet walls.
The original design was a multifaceted hood requiring many additional hours of welding and polishing. We offered an alternative design, forming the hoods in one piece resulting in a cost saving for our client.
We also have the contract to manufacture and install the light fitting brackets and the mesh panels to the inside faces of the bridge.
All material was Grade 316 Stainless Steel finished in a satin polish.

Other work carried out on Bridge 20 included the manufacture and installation of Security Doors, Access Ladders, Hatch Covers, Security Mesh Panels
and the cover frames around the support cables for the central reservation.
